Many of the provisions of Dodd-Frank are scheduled to go into effect this year and next.

Many have complained about the effectiveness (or lack of) in the law, others have complained that it goes too far or not far enough and some think it should be scrapped.

There are approximately 400 regulations contained and the government as yet has not publshed all the details and procedures for those regulations.

At least we can be assured that the law itself is likely to be only slightly more complex and confusing than the diagram

The race is on to see whether all of the regulations and procedures will be written before the effective dates of portions of the Dodd-Frank legislation.

I do not know what is worse multi-thousand page bills or these confusing 'explanatory" charts
